Our hotel is located in a quiet, strategic position.

Located in a small hilltop village, away from the chaos and traffic of the city, but at the same time allowing you to reach various attractions in nearby towns both by public transport and independently with your own car.

 

Heading towards the Swiss border, located 20 km (26 min by car) away, we find Cannero Riviera, 5.7 km (8 min by car), and Cannobio, 12 km (16 min by car). Both of these towns have been awarded the Blue Flag, a recognition given to the cleanest beaches.

Cannobio, in turn, is 16 km from Locarno (Switzerland).

By Italian bus, you can reach Brissago (the first town across the Swiss border) and from there change to another bus to reach Locarno, famous for its many summer activities and festivals, such as the Film Festival that takes place in August.

 

In the opposite direction, however, we find Verbania 11 km away (15 min) and then Pallanza, where you can visit the Botanical Park of Villa Taranto. From here you can take the boat that takes you to the famous Borromean Islands, located in front of Stresa, where you can visit the Park of Villa Pallavicino, with various animal species, surrounded by greenery.

Continuing for 19 km (24 min by car) there is Arona, known for the statue of San Carlo and then again 20 km away (33 min by car) we find the Rocca di Angera, from here, you can take a boat to the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso.

Also worth a visit are Mergozzo, a charming village overlooking the small lake that gives it its name, and Lake Orta, known for the Island of San Giulio.

For mountain lovers, we recommend a visit to the Toce Waterfalls and a hike to the Riale Dam.
